Goodbye Warlords

ADC is tougher than ever this season, and their early game is much weaker than previously before. Back then as an ADC if you were caught out or screwed up you died, now if you take one small tiny tiny misstep you get deleted.Hell, even if you are doing things right you still die because you're the ADC. And sometimes it feels like you are just peeling massive amounts of damage rather than actually "carrying" if you get my drift. But the one thing that made ADC a lot more comfortable and easier is Warlords, it helped our early game by giving us durability that we don't have so we can cs and trade better. But Riot decided to change it just so Yasuo mains can go all in and screw shit up. I'm all for a Yasuo buff/rework since they have a low win rate in higher elos, but at the expense of ADCs? Now ADC's have no real all across the board early game mastery to make up for their extremely weak early game. 1% life steal that procs like a Shiv, no thanks Riot.

EDIt: Not saying Warlords is bad, but the change made ADC early game in the laning phase more painful.

Or 50% lifesteal. On an AA. That scales with your crit. Not only that, the burst of MS is excellent for re-positioning.

That is very late game. Late game hell yeah its good, but early its almost useless.

The MS early is still good for a quick dive in to snag a minion and get some health back. Since the LS scales with level, you'll have a decent amount lvl 3 onward, especially if you started Doran's Blade.

there are 9 keystones. meaning there must be 9 playstyles. why then are there only 5 players per team and according to the unofficial official categorizations of champions (that never made it onto the league client yet still is referred to very adamantly here on the boards and by the community as if it's the holy grail of champ categorizations) there are at least 20 types of champion playstyles or more...

hmm

until i know the answer to this mystery i will continue to take unusual combinations in my quest for knowledge such as nasus stormraiders surge and heimerdinger courage of the colossus. once i know the true value of xin zhao windspeakers blessing i will report back with my findings.

The ms is nice, but in all honesty they gutted the mastery. They increased the power of the keystones to compete with thunderlords. Now, thunderlords is back on top, and the other masteries are getting nerfed, one by one.

Fervor has had nothing but buffs for a while now. Although Thunderlords is good, it is nowhere near what it was when keystones were released.

Fervor lost its' stacking on ability half, and is much harder for anyone who doesnt constantly auto to stack.

TheHappyReaperz1 votes

So Jhin? He's the only ADC who doesn't auto constantly.

DarkLordArbitur1 votes

Yes, but other AD champions who could use it in more offensive builds (Darius, for instance) have a harder time stacking it. It's a minor gripe, but still.

Melee champs apply two stacks every auto, so its not hard to stack Fervor reasonably quickly.
