That is the DUMBEST thing that could be done about this. Many champions have game breaking mechanics. If you wanna remove Akali's true stealth then you should also just remove all these other things to make the game easy. Things being Talon's ability to jump over walls, ASoul's ability to LITTERALLY fly across the map, Tahm's ability to grab an ally against their will and do anything with them, Evelynn's execution AND get away in one button press, Master Yi's stupidity to just have no cooldown on Q and R, Aatrox and Garen to just have "tons of damage" no matter how you build them, Neeko's ability to desguise as an ally and actually have an invisible ult, Anivia's egg, Zac's blob, Zilean's ult, Ekko's ult, and many more. THOSE ARE WHAT MAKES THEM UNIQUE. Akali will have NOTHING unique if you remove the true stealth. She will just be another bland champ with a couple dashes and throwing daggers and a little stealth. I'm no Akali main, I barely touch her but I however verse her in lane often and do find frustration versing her BUT THAT'S PART OF THE GAME. Just cuz you have issues with something, doesn't mean it has to be changed. Adapt to it, find a way to make do with what you're given. Avoid Akali. This is a team game and you're giving 4 other people to help you for the next 15+ minutes. No one has to take things on alone. And the ONLY reason Akali mains like Professor Akali wants her reverted is for selfish reasons "I want people to stop banning her so I can play her again". They have no issues with the ability itself. These kids need to stop crying about an ablity AND JUST LEARN HOW TO PLAY AGAINST IT. If they decide to quit the game, by all means please do because we don't need that in this game. Tired of people crying "its broke, fix it". How 'bout you get good and do something about it yourself. Massive rant but TL:DR, its POINTLESS to remove something that makes a champion unique only because people wanna cry about it.

They should remove the fucking true stealth or just make the control wards be fucking useful like they were before.

Akali removes the right click. An important mechanic that several champions rely on.

Akali jukes turret aggro too much. An important defense punishment mechanic.

Akali for being unique, should not equal non-counterplay. Counterplay is a crucial part of a competitive oriented game.

There should be better ideas than True Stealth justt waiting to be discovered and that do not violate the reasons above.

Nah, fuck her True Stealth. There needs to be some sort of counter play for champions that have literally 0 AOE.

Most of those aren't nearly as gamebreaking as you may think though. Before ASol could fly across the map we had TF who could literally teleport there faster with a targeted stun, and TF has not been a problem for many years now. Talon gained his insane mobility over walls at the cost of being rather immobile (for an assassin at least) in other situation such as in the middle of a lane.

On a side note I'm not saying Akali needs her true stealth removed. But it's good that Riot is looking at her shroud mostly for adding counterplay, since she's so frustrating to face because of that thing.

I'm not an akali main but i liked to play her.

I really don't understand why people hate playing against her. I just pick a champion like orianna or lux and pretty much win the lane.

Not to mention that her damage is so delayed that its entirely possible to die without even doing your second dash part of the ult.

Karthus deals x5 more damage with his ult than akali can ever hope to deal with her ult.

I never seen an akali hard carry any of my games up to plat 3. Idk what happens to diamond.

use skill shots, hit the skill shots. she takes damage like a piece of paper. Either that or dont run around by yourself and die. There are plenty of character who do dumber shit than Akali yet she gets nerfed because its new and people can't help but complain about how bad they are.

So many low skill players complaining about a champion with the lowest win rate so much that Riot actually nerfed her.

IF they remove her true stealth, they will have to buff her damage, so than people will complain about her doing to much damage, if they nerf her damage, they will have to buff her range, than people will complain about her having to much range, if they nerf her range, they will buff her utility and cool downs, than people will complain about her utility and cool downs, than they nerf that and buff her damage again, so than people will complain about her doing to much damage, if they nerf her damage they will buff her range, than people will complain about her having to much range......
