With the new towers you are finally able to solo carry again. Unless you are a jungler hehe :)

I feel that it is possible to solo carry again finally! Won a 4v5 ranked even. Ive met enemies become beasts and teammates hard carrying. I like that. The problem lie damage and over tuned champion designs. But YES, let us keep the ability to solo carry.

Depends on the champ and the lane.

Tops definitely are getting 1v5 opportunities. Bot..... not so much, unless you're a carry support.

Mid is iffy, and could always semi carry. But they get less Turret exposure due to junglers/minion wave speeds, so usually less shields.
