Gnar needs a purpose on the fields of Justice

Right now my new favorite to play champ is suffering from what feels like a lack of proper focus in development. When Gnar is running around he is EXACTLY what riot intended him to be an adorable ball of fluff that is the most ridiculously fun champ to play due to his awesome design and the life they brought to the character. however when it comes to actual combat he falls ridiculously short of a fair fight. This is best pointed out in his own lore. He is small and adorable and a overall joke to serious champs, but then BAM he is a threat .... that you can just walk away from and then BAM you turn around and kill him after he misses on the minions. His small form is fun but useless and his big form is surprising ONLY if the enemy champ didn't notice you getting close to transforming which makes countering Gnar as simple as paying attention with ANY champ. and jungle just has to come from your tower for an assured kill when you are transformed. Any meta top laner can wipe the floor with mini gnar and just disengage when he transforms MAYBE. I love the crazy amount of turn around he has in my fights but its usually not enough and the fact that his two forms are complete different roles means that he suffers from playing ANY role In top Gnar gets wiped out in duels before he can make crazy turn arounds in mid Gnar gets one shot at level four by a mean combo in jungle Gnar has to kite every camp just to survive his first round of jungle clears and has terrible ganks unless you magically combo everything In bot Gnar gets out ranged like crazy by any adc and once the enemy builds life steal you can't poke fast enough to take them down. As support Gnar doesn't duel duel well enough to support an adc and has no saving moves for his adc Over all they based all his damage in lane on his passive form but that means you can only play offensively for 20% of any lane time which sucks cause its just loses its appeal after you almost die to a level two combo of e then q from darius and then your left just sitting there waiting for enough rage to poke again and thats lame I really want to feel the HUNTER from this little guy I want my enemys to need to play safe the whole time not just all in for free kills on me unless I am gunna transform in which case they just take a quick breather behind their minion lines. My favorite way to play this would be him being able to move around the the minions a little bit better like if hop had a cool down based on abilities or basic attacks that would make me happy cause then if I hopped to angle myself better against a Jayce or Jax I can escape sometime in the next ten seconds rather than having to walk back zigzagging and trying my best to dodge his lethal skill shots and super engage cause if someone like Jayce were to hammer time on gnar after gnar went for a poke Gnar would die if he used hop to position absolutely no questions asked.

You might say well then save it and wait to use it to which I say then why would I want to play that champion

My FAVORITE thing to do is proc my w's passive and then chase with hop but against half the top laners they just laugh and kill me cause I die in three swings of a blade, club, lantern or whatever so I have to either kill them quick or run and if the option is run and they have a gap closer then is a free kill every time

You might say again well just wait for your passive to engage like that To which I say then why would I WANT to play that champion. I like making plays but if making plays involves the other player being dumb then its not a test of skill it is a gamble of whether I am going to do good and thats BULL So all I ask Riot is this Plz sit down decide where you actually want him and then build mini gnar to actually survive that position long enough to enjoy his FULL kit and GNAR IS SO MUCH FUN

Currently they discovered a number of bugs on gnar and are working on fixing them with the next patch as well as buffing up a number of his abilities as well.

In all honesty, they really need to remove the slow from his Mini Gnar Q...

All I have to say, is that Riot released YET ANOTHER champion with too much going for them... simple as that.

Give it time and they may realize this and remove the slow, I don't know...

The slow is not only NOT needed, but it's also FAR too strong (especially for a slow that's not needed, AND counts toward his MS passive boost).

My thoughts on the little [expletive deleted].
