It's been a hell of a nerf roller-coaster for akali mains in the past year since her release, if i've counted right, she had 9-10 nerfs until now every consecutive patch.

if the balance team can't find a way to balance her for a year, and they just keep destroying her with these savage nerfs, just bring the old one back, admit you made a mistake. there's no point in adding 20 nerfs - saying she's balanced now and not fun to play anymore.

the old akali was balanced and great, i see no reason why you won't bring her back.

patch 9.18 is going to destroy akali for a good time. I know people hate playing against her and are happy for the nerfs, but even some of them admit its way too much, and some of them forgot she had like 9-10 nerfs already.

well, the fact that she wasnt nerfed every patch is a hint. and i hear that everytime, people think she was too strong, well, she wasn't, she could easily be countered, and there are many other champs that are much stronger in solo q

mains of the old akali were routinely rank one every season. being able to triple dash was a stupid mechanic. and her new kit on release was more overloaded than any other champ in the game. she needs these nerfs so that she can not be a stupid champion that gets perma banned

You are delusional. Old Akali was cancer and not even fun to play. If she got ahead, she would just melt you with her 3 ult charges without any counterplay. There was no way to get away from a fed akali. At least this one takes skill to play, while the other one just pressed qrrr

Old akali was still broken as all fucking christ and hell back and forward, however atleast her empowered auto didnt come up every 1.5 seconds and atleast her R didnt one shot

Delete Pyke. He is much more of a problem. Also, Lux and Ahri. But that is just my hate for them, not because they really matter. Though.. being at the top of the tier list for mid laners for several months is really getting old. Mid is always one of those two if they are not banned or picked somewhere else.

In Platinum+ ranked play, Pyke has a 49.19% ban rate, still has a 14.78% pick rate. His low-end winrate is 50.88% with that winrate jumping to 59.38% after 50 games on Pyke. There is a person in NA with an 88% winrate on him. These numbers are not conducive to a fun or healthy game at all.

honestly they should revert her ult keep the shroud movement speed and her q and changer her e either revert it or change it completely and then just leave her the fuck alone man ppl always bitching about her but the fact is there are so many other options that can shit on an akali that is new massive aoes targeted skill targeted cc lock she pops with 1 mistake and need to take massive risks to try and get kills.

the nerfs they been giving akali make her weaker but good akali player will keep her strong because she has a really good kit and old akali wasn't all that fun to play as compared to new akali it is the same as aatrox because his kit is good hes going to stay meta until the meta chances and the meta has been the same since after worlds of 2018

Nerfed because of pro play and their 200 IQ plays, what is so hard to understand, yes kit is complicated, but the blame goes on pro players and their ability to abuse the champions performance.

All my fking Akali players in the team feeding with her, atleast 2/10 players who playing her succesfully snowballing.

it's true sort of. New aatrox and Akali just have so many OPTIONS and so much safety for their respective classes, and are just generally so overloaded. That's why they can afford to be nerfed so many times, yet still be incredibly powerful in experienced hands.

But she had an overloaded kit and too much damage. Besides, most nerfs nowadays are -2 base AD, or -5 damage in early levels of an skill... Basically nothing for a champion that had nearly twice the damage she should on release. She still is able to oneshot any carry. She is still nearly invincible in her smoke bomb. She still has 4 dashes that let her chase an escape anything. She is by no means weak. Who cares if she doesn't have 500 spare damage? She will do the exact same. The only thing this nerfs have achieved is to make her weaker against other assasins, but she can counterpick any mage and make their lives a living hell. Even more than a Zed could.

Riot isn't in favor of reverting failed reworks, probably due to how they already try to design a meta with certain champions in mind. Else we'd had a Skarner, Malzahar and Aatrox (and possibly Karma, judging by the innitial response?) revert.

Unlike all of those previous champs, Akali was and still is hated by the community. Her 'theme' almost designates her to be cancerous, and is obviously further pushed by Riot's new design philosophy (lets fuck this game up)

So should Akali be reverted? I don't think so. Just like other champions, she is bound to be a breathing, mobile rage inducing machine. Should what makes her this rage inducing be dealt with? As much as I'd love to see Akali as a champion deleted from the game, with everything to ever include her erased, I think it'd make her sub par in a season already loaded with mobility and damage. You've so much of this shit going on that targeting one champion -instead of making a sweeping, large change- is going to just make a chunk of the community salty.

IMO Riot should stop nerfing random parts of her abilities and just gut her passive. That's where she's overlooked the most. 3 Q's + 3 passive procs (thanks to W energy restoration, very skilful mechanic btw, considering how other energy champs have to put some work into restoring their energy instead of pressing a button.) completely obliterate most melee champs mid and top.
