North America Latency Issues (East Coast Summoners)

Hey Riot... if Latency on the North America isn't a concern, (after years of not implementing an East Coast Server, I'm conservatively estimating it's not) why not have tournaments hosted in New York City, or any major city along the Atlantic? If you're going to claim that there are no lag issues, or very quietly state there are, then do nothing about them, at least keep yourselves honest about it. Host a major tournament on the East Coast and garner some feedback from the pros about game-play. It's unacceptable that the one of the most widely played games in the world does not have an East Coast server. I am forced to play on Latin America North (based in Miami) to keep my ping at a reasonable level. So in order to have playable conditions, I have to sacrifice communication with my team (language barrier). All other major games have at least two servers based in the United States, but League of Legends is intentionally and embarrassingly void of this benefit. What will it take for you to listen to approximately 50% of your North American player-base? What do we need to do in order to have the same playable conditions as West Coast players? Establishing a server on the East Coast would even lead to larger profits in addition to equality. Consider how many players would be more likely to spend money on champions and skins if they knew using them would actually be enjoyable! I sure would feel better about my purchase. There is no real debate here; an East Coast server would be better for the players and ultimately better for Riot Games as well. Please reconsider your passive and elusive stance on this issue. Please give your players and fans what they deserve! Riot, in 2015, time to stand by your words of a player oriented game! Time to provide fairness to all NA Summoners regardless of our geographical location! Let's make it happen!

Robby P.S. My favorite champion is Vladimir and I have his Blood Lord skin. His tag line is "Kneel before Vlad," but all I hear is "Kneel before Lag." My games are being 'siphoned' from me.

It sounds like Riot wants to move the servers to a more centralized location for NA.

As to if that means Denver, Chicago or someplace else I do not know but that would likely do a lot for making ping more universal for the average player in NA.
