How does the crate system work? I took a break from league and now I'm so confused lol. how can I get the Annie skin? and what do the essence do?

For every S rated game or higher you or a person you queued up with gets, you get a chest. One chest per champion per season. You can earn key fragments randomly by playing. 3 fragments = 1 key. Combine a chest with a key and you can unlock either a skin, champion, ward skin, or gemstone. You need 10 gemstones to get hextech annie
