Transition to Jungler

Hi,

Not really a part of the LoL community, just an avid player. But hi there.

I mainly play the supp role in a game. I actually like the supp role the most. Many of my champs are geared for that role, some of which people won't expect. My main champ is Lux. I like to play a ranged game and like sniping, either getting a kill or an assist.

When it comes to playing ranked, I know climbing as a supp is impossible. I'd like to try jungle since it's like a roaming supp, but know I need to learn tanky characters. I'm a fan of Ekko and Kayn so far.

Aside from learning champ strengths, my real weakness is how to jungle. I have no clue. I kill monsters for how long before a gank? How often? When should I attack epic monsters? Etc. I can only practice technique so much against AI, but PvP can rely on a good or bad jungler.

So any help or tips is/are appreciated for someone transitioning from a ranged supp to a close-combat jungler.

Tracking the enemy jungler (this is less of actually tracking them but having an idea of where they are) Is one of the keys to playing jungle effectively

My fav path with Kayn is Bot side buff to Raptors to top side buff then i gank top or mid.

The way i take raptors is i attack 1 raptor drag them back. hit them all with the W and then dash into them with q. Then auto the little raptors because thats like 90% of the camps damage.

You can climb ranked as supp but lux supp is weak right now. There are much better champs.
