Provisional Rankings Broken?

Not sure if they just want everyone to experience the joy of the world of bronze so the higher ranks are more appreciated this season...but myself as well as many friends have won 60-90% of our games and none of us have been placed higher than bronze I. And no we arent being carried with 0/20/0 scores or anything. Thoughts? Explanations? Logic?
