I got more damage per minute and gold than ALL the top challenger players... So why am I in Bronze 5

Well...

On my annual graphs I got bars way higher when compared to challenger players on both gold and damage per minute.

I obviously push harder than anybody in the game.

Isn't that what is important if you want to actually win the game?

I've seen many players botch the win even after getting a huge 26 and 0 type K/D ratio... So I figure let's do what actually wins games.

And PUSH!

There isn't a game hardly where I don't have the most monsters killed and the most gold of either team.

Often however people are telling me what a bad player I am.

Is it really me?

Or is it the fact that all 4 of my teamates never help me push enough?

When I am breaking the enemy base I almost always do it alone by myself.

It's not that I don't want to have a team with me. I do.

It's just that they are all fighting fights they can't win or wandering aimlessly about the map it seems.

I've often won games with no help from the team at all and just break their nexus while everyone is distracted.

Let's have a real discussion here.

Am I better than a challenger player or am I worse than bronze 5?

You do know the performance you get is base on the players you play against? You know its damn easy to get a good performance against Bronze, and if you were good, you wouldn't be Bronze right

In your annual graph you get to change the graphs to compare yourself with players of other tiers.

When compared to challenger players I get more gold and damage per minute.

I have better raw stats than most challenger players too by many of those metrics.

But I play against silver level players who will make more mistakes, take needless damage, die much more often, and not push advantages as hard as higher level opponents.

Have to remember that the players in your games just aren't comparable to challenger level players. The most noticeable difference is kill count, challenger players average something like 2-3 deaths per game while in bronze it is probably something closer to 6-7. 3 times more deaths equals almost 3 times as much kill gold going around, so more 'gold generated' and 'damage dealt' by a bronze than a challenger in this aspect.

Kamehaamehaa is saying that even though it says your stats are "better" than challenger, that doesn't mean you actually are. Since you play against low elo players, you do well playing against them since they are not as experienced. If you were playing against actual challenger players, you would be making a lot more mistakes and therefore your stats would drop dramatically.

objectives and farm always win over kills. The problem is players in low elo, especially bronze can't apply even half of the advatange they have (I am not exclusion). Damage means nothing Think about it this way. One of main damage inputs is teamfights/scirmishes, trades and kill chases. Low elo focus on fighting and chasing. Thus their damage input is higher.

Can't give you an answer unless you post on your main account instead of a level six smurf.

I have a better KDA than Faker. It's because I'm fucking up Silvers, not Challengers.

Comparing your stats to pros is fun, but it doesn't really mean much (except stuff like wards and cs). Earning gold and a good KDA is all relative to the ELO you're in, so farming bronzies doesn't mean you belong in Chalenger.

Kill counts trend downward as MMR increases.

When you watch smurfs grind an account up from low elo while trying to do it as fast as possible, they don't get crazy 20+ kill counts every game. Their kill counts are pretty good (8, 8, 10, 7, 14, etc.) but they keep their deaths extremely low as they tear down objectives without taking unnecessary risks. If you do see a really crazy kda then it's usually a rare game where the rest of the map went extremely badly and they have to singlehandedly stall the game for an extended period of time.

Oh god. Game is so much more complicated than just pushing or killing opponents. There's so much knowledge to have about lane pressure, vision, how to play matchups, builds, roaming, how to manage waves, how to snowball, how to stall, play from behind, how to contest objectives ...

Also it's desperately obvious that stats are uncomparable to challenger players.. because challenger players face challenger players. They are against skilled opponents and don't always trade like madmen because they know their limits and their opponent's limits and trying to force trades all the time is usually doing mistakes and dying.

You seem to know that the real objective is killing the nexus, not opponents. And I mean, that's good. That's a start. Really basic, yet that's a start. But comparing yourself to a challenger, well.. let's uh.. not get ahead of ourselves.

Because their stats are relative to playing against other challenger players while you're are against playing other bronze 5 players lol. You really think you would have those numbers if you got dropped into a challenger game? Or even a gold or plat game?

Gold games aren't that much better, tbh. It's just the more consistent version of Silver players. Plat is where that difference starts being more noticeable in my opinion, but you have the right idea nonetheless.
