Question about dynamic Q rules

Hi,

so I have a friend who was gold , while my acc was in silver. We played and he got to plat 5. I suppose that means that we cant duo anymore until I reach gold?

But what if we are a 3 man party with another player who is gold, so we would be silver, gold and plat5. Is that legit?

I'm not sure about the rules so any help regarding this will be appreciated.

Well I honestly don't know, but isn't it simpler/quicker to just test that in-game, instead of asking on the forums and waiting for an hypothetical and potentially wrong answer? x)

we will test later, just wanted to know in the meantime. And I kinda hope that someone from riot will read it and perhaps clear my doubts #neverGiveUp
