What does it take to get an S on LEE Support???

So I just played a game on Lee Sin support and ended the game 5/0/12. The enemy team surrendered at 20, and there was not much else i could do to improve my score even further. I had 50 cs, and was a team player that game. Are grades not based off of how well you perform in a certain role with a champion compared to everyone else who has played the same champ in the same role? If so, I find it hard to believe that I was not in the top percentile of Lee Sin supports going 5/0/12 with 50 cs at 20 min. Like what does it take? feelsbadman

Wards out the ass. Take Dragons. Get at least 7 kills by 25 mins (before 30 min mark). Get a bit more CS. Do some JG on your own if you must.

Do wards really matter?

(I'm not mad at you, just saying) Why in the actual hell would wards placed count towards S rank? So if I placed 100 wards in a line, got 1 kill, and then AFKed for the rest of the game, I would get S rank? Riot, if this is true, I just give up on you.

Yes wards matter, along with pretty much everything else. They have said that spamming wards at fountain wouldn't help you though, so presumably the system is smart enough to tell 'useful' wards from spammed ones.

Still, even if it wasn't smart enough, you'd still get an awful grade there since even if your warding was exceptional, everything else would be exceptionally bad.

Oh no not at all. I wish it were that simple lol!

I went 7/0 KD with a bunch of assists, got 2 drags, helped take baron, and I was warding like mad with item 2301 item 3364 while peeling a ton for my adc and in team fights. The more wards you uncover with the lense and destroy, it helps as well. Warding in crucial spots on your lane and in the jungle tally up in the grade as well...plus, it factors in how well you play Support among other people that play Lee as a support...if they ever do. Most use him for a bruiser or sub-tank...so getting an S on him could require you to get like 12+ kills and 0 deaths which will be tricky unless you ks your team mates in team fights.

I've only played lee a few times, and not one of my favorite champs to be honest. But warding, creeping, taking turrets, getting kills and taking minimal deaths while racking up some KP/A helps tremendously. Time in the match is also a factor...if you spend a lot of time returning to base, that does shave your grade down...as I went like 9/0/14 with 70ish minions kills, won my lane with the adc (I took the towers down) but I was consistently healing by returning to base and got an A- within a 20 minute match. I was told I needed like 100 minion kills within that time frame, but in the match I stated previously, I had less than 100 minion/monster kills so...

It's really hard to say how easy it is to get an S on lee, but this was with Heim and Quinn... [zombie-brand-clap]

So Ward like your life depends on it (and it does lol) Be around for the majority of the killing/fights Drop turrets Solo dragons if you can get away with it Wreck minions in your lane and roam to help control Avoid getting killed as much as possible, and watch out for baiters

Pretty much, general gameplay. Oh, and when you sweep/ward...avoid popping too many wards at once. The limit of wards you have out versus the 4 you get with the Eye really hurts your score (as it seems on my end).

Get objectives and more CS.

Objectives are the most important, b/c I have seen people go 40/2/21 with 2 objectives (drag, baron, towers, inhibs) and get S-. Same person went 23/4/14 with same champ in same role, but got 8 objectives and he got S.

Honestly, if you have to towersteal and dragsteal from your teammates, do it. B/c that seems like the only way to secure objectives.
