New runes/masteries are made for idiots

This game is always moving in the direction of appealing to the lowest common denominator and it makes me sick. I have been around since the game started a long ass time ago and the thing that made this game stand so far above any other like it was, in fact, runes/masteries/summoners spells. I would sit around for hours scheming new ways to tweak my runes into perfection, I had 20 pages and 100% rune collection and 20 pages wasn't nearly enough. All you idiots thought 9x of 3 types of runes was optimal, 3x the same quints and generic masteries, so riot decided everyone is too stupid to use a system of diversity that allows for literally trillions of options for each champion before even entering the game. Congratulations, now you have like 2 options per champion because for almost all of the new runes they have effects that cannot be used on every champion. Even half the fucking keystones mandate specific types of abilities be used in order to activate them, so instead of customization you just take a small quiz that asks you what abilities your character has. And don't get me started on the new masteries, they have even less options than the new runes do.

Hey Riot, since almost everyone picks flash without thinking why not delete all the summoner spells too? After that, just delete all the champions while you're at it so people don't get confused. Delete twisted treeline because it reminds people of dominion. You already removed half the items from the game why stop there? Delete lifesteal because it is like spellvamp. Delete armor, HP, and MR too because those slow the game down. Delete crit because it's RNG Delete damage because it's overpowered once you delete everything else.

Seriously, if they actually wanted to improve the game this new rune system could have just been stacked on top of the old system as extra options, but it isn't about improving the game it's about not scaring away rogue idiots wandering into the game from random ads that end their playtime offended by the notion of having to think about anything, so considering that goal in mind any effect that takes more than 1 line to describe should also be removed because it exceeds the attention span of the average candy crush player, and people should only have 1 item slot because 6 is [insert generic PR statement here].

I collected every rune in the game and all I get is a fucking ICON?! Delete all your employees if this is the best they can do. I WANTED CUSTOMIZATION THAT'S WHY I PAID REAL MONEY FOR ALL THE CHAMPIONS IN FAVOR OF BUYING MORE RUNES WITH IP. FML RIOT, rollback the game 5 years if you want to improve it jesus christ what are you even doing anymore.
