Please Riot, take a long hard look at the swain changes, I will give all the feedback I can
Upcoming hot fix changes for swain: Q damage buffed and removed the cast time on his ult(which accidentally shipped)
I am a long time swain main(since season 2) and have played him in plat II to plat I with much success.
Now discussing the Q change: It does not matter one bit that your buffing the damage to his Q if you can't even get more than 1 tick of damage off on most people, the range of the tether is simply too short and the new cool down really hurts his brawling play style. Not to mention, the slow from Swain's old Q used to keep the slow on your target regardless of whether or not they broke the tether. This was a very much NEEDED tool for swain to use to catch very mobile champions. For example if you Q'ed an Ezreal and he E'ed away instantly, he would still be slowed for about 1 and a half seconds so you actually had a chance to catch him, now you have 0 chance.
TLDR: buffing damage to his new Q does literally nothing to stop the bleeding!
Discussing the Ult changes: Ok so lets put this in perspective.... Your ult range is 700 units, In any given team fight, how often do you actually have 4-5 champions within a 700 unit radius around you? yea thats what I thought, not to mention if you do a lot of the times you can not survive long enough to even make use out of the fact that your ult is hitting 1-2 extra people. Now how often do you as a Swain player have 1-3 champions within a 700 unit radius around you in any given whole GAME? Pretty often if you are playing Swain correctly, certainly much more often than 4-5 people. But guess what, Now due to the pecking immunity change, You not only do much less dps in these situations but also you heal much less often as well.
TLDR: I would rather have Swain's ult only hit 2 champions at maximum and have the Pecking immunity change removed than have it hit 5 champions and keep it around, that's just how much that change hurts him!
I see these changes as irresponsible, and if there not that, then all I can conclude is the people at Riot responsible for these changes do not understand the strengths and weaknesses of Swain and what he is all about. His forte was those 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 situations, now there absolutely gutted and that makes him feel beyond clunky.
