Why do you keep losing when you start to lose?

I play Zac main and everthing was going pretty well until last night, it was horrible I literally couldn't sleep because of it.. I am not sure if it is luck or I was doing something wrong, it is like no matter how hard I try, I just could not win. Out of 7 games I lost 6.. and my MMR dropped from Gold I to Gold IV...all in one night.

The reason I make a post here is that I really want to improve myself, so any ideas or comments are welcome, and you are welcome to share your own bad experience (if any) with me as well.

Thanks!

I've never had any good experience after losing 2 ranked games in a row and yet I keep doing the same mistake. If you lose 2 or more games in a row, it's probably a good idea to just stop or play ARAM or normal or w/e. Do something else and come back later or the next day. Go for a walk, a coffee, call a friend... Just don't go for that third loss.

Thanks for the comment, that is usually what happens, the losing tide just won't be pushed away. And to get a walk, coffee, and play the next day..True, those actually helps, and most of the time you actually can win the next day.

But the question is why? I mean, was I meant to lose on that day or something? Was there a curse? It is not like anything relating to my gaming skill has changed or improved by giving it some time.. if anything, I might actually even forget about what I did wrong and make the same mistake after taking a break..

Also, there is this OCD factor here, like gambler's mind, you lose something, you want to win back.

Thanks anyway for commenting :)

I think what you just said, that you want to win it back, is very true. You may have had one bad game (it happens) and then you convince yourself "okay I'm sure I can do better than that" and maybe you will be more focused on making "plays" than actually winning. You could also just be facing good opponents or you were not rested enough and you just couldn't focus on many things at a time. I don't think it's luck or bad luck, at least not for every streak lol

Speaking for myself but after a break, I just feel more relaxed and I tend to have more fun playing, even If I'm losing. Sometimes in ranked I have that weird thought like "I can't be demoted, I'm not a noob" but when I tell myself "well, how wrong can it be if I get demoted? It's just a game, let's play and we'll see, If I end up bronze that will be because that's where I belong" lol And then I tend to play better SMH.

LOW ELO player speaking BTW lol

That's a great analysis, thank you! I do feel better now after reading your comment, yes its just a game, where I end up to could be where I belong XD
