Vayne can never begin to get the team shredding damage that Kog'Maw can achieve. However, she would still win in a 1v1.

Kog is better than vayne.

Sure vayne can 1v1 anyone but kog can kill a team in 8 seconds.

Also he has a better midgame than she does

vayne has true damage kogmaw does not

Kog has range, Vayne does not.

Kog has AOE damage, Vayne does not.

Kog has 5.0 attack speed, Vayne does not.

Kog has a tank-shredding steroid applied to every auto, Vayne does not.

Etc.

Meanwhile Vayne has mobility, stealth and self peel / cc tho.

Which makes her a good option if your team lacks enough peeling to protect you, otherwise Kog'Maw outclasses her.

Also, her CC is very conditional. It requires the enemy to be knocked into a wall. It can also affect only one champion. Meanwhile Kog'Maw can slow multiple enemies and without a condition to do that.

Yes she does but she her weakness is her low range.

It's why both kog twitch and arguably Tristana are stronger than her late game.

Even in a game with kog and vayne kog is better higher range and more percent health damage

They do different things. Vayne best 1v1, Kog'maw best teamfight, Jinx good mix between those two.

Kog is better.Because item 3085 AOE damage.

Kog is the best lategame teamfighting ADC. If we're talking a lategame 1v1 splitpushing ADC, then yes Vayne is best.

kog has better AoE damage, good for teamfights.

I dont see how kogmaw is a better tank shredder when he does magic damage but doesnt buy magic penetration. You can't itemize against Vayne.

  • Kog'maw's Q reduces the targets Armor and MR by a percentage
  • His W provides a massive attack speed boost (which has great synegy with on-hit effects like Bloodrazor and Blade of the Ruined King) and percent health magic damage on-hit
  • His synergy with Runaan's Hurricane lets him spread the aforementioned on-hit effects to multiple targets (as opposed to Vayne who can only hit one)
  • Kog'maw greatly outranged Vayne so he can safely hit targets which she cannot

It is also important to remember that Kog'Maw actually does more percentage damage against an enemy than Vayne, despite the fact that he deals magic damage. This is because he does that damage on every auto attack instead of only on the third hit. Also, he has far more attack speed than Vayne. This makes him have far more DPS than Vayne, and in AoE. With his only actual disadvantage over Vayne being his lack of mobility.

And then there's Varus who gets out-shined by both of them, despite dealing 15% of everyone's max HP with one combo. He's what a balanced late-game ADC should look like.
