I've been spamming games with him and at best I can only get an S-, even rushing items that wouldn't for the most part be rushed first like Zzrot and GA to not even die but even 1 death feels like I get knocked back to S- despite having kills and at least 20+ assists. IDK what else to possibly do other then get a Frost Queen's and spam ghosts to get more assists.
disregardable1 votesI think it's unrealistic to expect an S if your ADC didn't get an S. I can't really recall a time I've ever gotten S- and my supp got S. Snowballing/laning phase is really important towards getting an S, and if you don't have that, odds are you're probably going to get S-.
Now if your AD is consistently getting S to your S-, you need to work on being more effective later in the game.

Since he is a heavy-in-meta character and has space for a lot of plays and performance you might need outrageous scores and farm in order to reach S.
ModWuks1 votesWhen you're feeling stuck, maybe give AP Thresh mid a shot, or maybe ADC Thresh. Sometimes it works :D
Fondling Gems1 votesPlay him in unusual positions. Since your grade is based on how well you do compared to other Thresh's who play in the same position then something like JG Thresh which has an incredibly low play rate doesn't have very high standards set.
