There is undeniable too much damage in the game one shoting is normal, it does not require that much skill to kill someone if when can oneshot, I have countless times seen players outplay others and still lose bacause they get oneshoted when the enemy has champion that can oneshot with ease.

Do you have any plans to make all champions a little more tanky or take some damage away from every champion so that outplaying give you a better chance of wining a skirmish.

Bring the player not the champ.

i mean the most popular champions right now revolve around outplaying someone Riven Irelia Zed Yasuo Thresh so that's still a thing.

now more than ever is outplaying more important since if you don't, you will die. You can't just blindly press qwer and get a kill because then you would be putting yourself in danger depending on your champion.

I mean they're popular because it isn't hard to "outplay" someone with these champs. I played Riven mid by accident one game (teammate didn't trade me my champ) and I went something like 6/1 despite me being garbage at her. Never at any point have I been able to do that well with Riven, she's just much easier to do decently with nowadays.

no, they are popular because they are fun and they have a certain theme. you did so well with her because of that specific game since it was obv a stomp you coulda played anything and still won. try doing that over 20 or 30 games for an actual reference

I actually lost that game. I started off by getting a pick on the enemy jungler (who was already 1-2 kills in) because my jungler was baiting them (my jungler was low on hp and probably would have died if they engaged at all, even after I engaged), I essentially 1v1ed a jungler who was ahead, and after that fight I forced my enemy laner to back because I beat them up so bad. On someone like Riven things like that should only happen when dedicated mains are playing, not someone like me who doesn't play that champ at all.

i got first blood on yasuo when playing soraka mid, i dont see how i should be able to do that when i dont even play soraka.

I agree. A Riven doing well now is not very impressive as it used to be, the ssame with Zed, Yas, Vayne thresh and Kha'Zix.

I 100% Disagree, what used to make these champs good is the huge outplay potential, people who mained these champs would perform much, much better compared to someone who plays them casually. but now their numbres are so overturned the casuals dont have to perform better, you dont need to outplay people with them, just just stun them and 1 shot / dash to them and 1 shot. Basically there is too much damage and item power-spikes are to big.

Excluding thresh because he is completely different compares to those other 4 you listed.

give a champion a million options/utility while having tons of damage. yeah thats some outplay

People have high damage -> Is more important to dodge and avoid getting in situations in the first place through good game knowledge and macro -> More outplaying wut

Lower damage -> Less important to dodge cus u can facetank anything -> outplaying is less imporatant

is that not the definition of outplay.

ok if zed is 11/0 there is no outplaying, but if you're on relatively even terms he isn't going to just press qwer and kill you. damage comes from his skillshots and he needs to land them.

That is not true. You should play against Zed more often rather than playing him. Maybe then our points of view won't be so different.

i have probably 2 or 3 zed games in the entire time that ive been playing league, and i almost exclusively main the class that he's supposed to counter. I'm not coming from a biased standpoint, it's just that the board's bandwagon of hate is so strong that it really convinced you zed is capable of oneshotting you without landing his q and being on equal gold.

You literally just listed the champions that require the less brains to stomp a lane (Except for Thresh).

Riven: Spam E for infinite shields that scale with AD, spam Q and Passive, cancel animations to do tons of damage without even having to move, which is in no way fair, like, getting hit by literally nothing out of nowhere. Get 6 and win lane no matter what, you're 0-0? Get 6 and stomp, you're 0-4? Get 6 and stomp, you're 4-0, get 6 and, uh, stomp?

Irelia: Literally just cry to your jungle to come twice at level 2 and never lose a trade anymore until you win the game, just Q 3 minions and then the enemy and then you randomly get a kill. If not, just get 6 and stomp no matter what.

Zed: Just spam W-Q through the whole laning phase and keep the enemy at the base, otherwise just get 6 and obliterate mid and botlane without even trying.

Yasuo: Literally just press Q every 2 seconds, buy 2 items and then obliterate the whole map.

What makes me feel worse is the fact that you said " You can't just blindly press qwer and get a kill" and then list literally the actual champs that can actually do that very thing, I don't know if feel bad for you, laugh at you, or just not care because you're just probably a troll.

They will never fix this issue with hogj burst dmg. Chinese like fast paced, short games with flashy plays and since China is their main market they will give fck about us. There is a hope that chinese gov. will ban/limit all video games. So we have a hope that Rito shift focus to western market again.
