Will I decay before the season reward?

Hi all,

As of today, I have 6 days left for my lp to decay. I'm currently placed in Diamond V division with 0 lp and The official date for the end of season 6 is 11/7/16 at 23:59:59. I absolutely do not want to take the risk of being demoted before I know for fact that I need to play a game in order to prevent my lp to drop. Can someone please clarify this for me?

i think they said in the faq when you decay on the day the season ends it will still count as decayed.

i would just play a game
