I think riot should remove the surrender option. Too many game could be win but because of 1 toxic player people give up because there is the surrender option. If people know that they can't surrender maybe they'll give it a shot for the win and get past the toxic player. Surrender shouldn't exist it's my opinion

Simply being past 20 minutes is too broad. You should at the very least be at a clear deficit.

If the surrender option is removed I will leave whenever the fuck I please regardless of what the punishment may be.
If I am not staying simply because the other players want to continue then I have no reason to concern myself with what they want.
Btw its not the toxic player that's the problem, its people like you who are so focused on winning that when your teammate is being harassed all you can do is think about your fucking game even if that means forcing them to sit around taking that. People like this are the more enraging than harassers.

when we've reached a point where the team can no longer communicate then we are not a team and I signed up to play a fucking team game not to be disrespected or watch others be disrespected to the point we must lower the quality of the game itself to perform.
Not to mention the mute button isn't going to stop anything half the time and sure as hell isn't going to stop them from making attacks on someone's account or attempting to harass them through others or commit slander.
But even then its is likely to affect performance when the players are unhappy.

If you don't want me to surrender than act like it, if you remove the ability to surrender I will simply do what is necessary at my own discretion, I will not even bother warning you in some cases.

The surrender option enforces a necessary idea of courtesy and reinforces an unnoficial state of majority rule. If it is removed do not expect anything good to come of it. if you want less people to surrender then put fucking humanity before your win/loss and maybe you'll see a difference in how people react to such a thing.

Or you can ignore people. Most of the people I find on this game is young to always think it cool to "talk trash/big" or be annoying. Be the mature one and not ruin the experience for the rest of your team due to one person.

I'm only pointing out that nobody has to "take harassment" when there's a mute button. They harass you, you mute them. They talk to others about you, mute them too. Hell, just /mute all. Yeah, that game is probably going to be crappy. But you're not taking anything when their harassment isn't reaching you.
I do wish you could make it known to people that you muted them.

If there's no way for the harassment to reach you, there's no harassment. That's what mute does. It's literally impossible for you to be harassed by people you muted.

You'd be pretending it isn't there if you kept reading it but not replying, which isn't what mute does. Just like you can't be terrorized by people who can't get at you. Do you feel terror at somebody with a dynamite belt in the middle of Antarctica by any chance? No, because they can't reach you from there, just like they can't reach you if you muted them. Sure, they might be there doing their things or they might not, you won't know nor care.
So yes, mute = no further harassment.
