So... About the patch for Worlds

So I have three questions for any Rioter who can offer some Insight.

First question. Do any of the Rioters involved in the balance aspects of the game watch 'Summoning Insight'? I feel like there are some very very good points of concern raised in the latest episode, which I will link to for anybody interested. I will set the link to the part in the video which is relevant to this post, but I would highly recommend watching from the beginning.

Now the reason I ask about that is because they talk about the changes that are going to be made just prior to Worlds (Provided the three of them are correct).

Second question. If they are correct that the patch before/for worlds will be 5.16 with the Morde changes and everything, what was the decision making process that wound up leading to 5.16 being the Worlds patch?

Third and final question. Based on the information in the 'Summoning Insight' episode that I will link, do you see this being a problem, or is it something you accounted for and there will be certain things like Morde disabled?

The patch for World's will be 5.18 or 5.19. They already stated that there will be 2 patches before the worlds patches that will be balance patches, so worlds will NOT be happening immediately after they introduce a bunch of new items and reworks.

But does this counter the problem that they bring up in the video? There's going to be a lack of competitive play around these patches, which makes it difficult to balance for competitive AND casual. Makes it difficult for teams to adjust in time.

I think thats the point honestly. Worlds last year was boring as fuck. This will make to so every team is on equal footing before Worlds. You can say they aren't the teams that qualified, but if they can't adapt as well as everyone else, that's a fair way to go about weeding out the weakest links early on in the tourney, for better game quality later on.

Plus WAAAAAAAAY more new picks.

The team that can adapt the quickest will win. I agree with the video that when Worlds comes, there will be some really broken items or champs and whoever discovers them first will win.
