So I'm thinking about getting a new mid but I'm not sure on what to get yet I'm looking for something along the lines of a Solo Q AP carry like that can carry HARD knowing how bad people are in solo q :/. So here is a poll of what I'm thinking of getting but if there is something I didn't list and would be a better solo q AP carry let me know.
Malzahar. He will never be banned, you won't need to worry about the enemy picking him first. He has no hard counter in lane so you're always fine unless you play wrecklessly. He has 2 AoE abilities with 1 Situationally AoE ability (if it keeps bouncing). His ONLY downside is that he has no real escape outside of his silence. But he's amazing

I like Viktor, he's fairly safe and assassins don't counter him hard. Most are skill match ups while he straight up counters some of the more popular ones.
Then his burst is very strong late game and if you get off a good gravity field and ult in a teamfight, that's gg.

Out of those four, I like Diana the best. While it's difficult pre-6, after 6 she can go almost as hard as Akali. And the shield makes her a bit more difficult to kill. Her E makes ganks pretty easy to pull off as well.
It depends on your playstyle. Diana is the most aggressive on that list, and Malzahar is the most passive. I love me some Malzahar, but he fits my playstyle of passive farming, not feeding, and opportunistic kills.
