Why does Riot hate fun?
Hello there, I've joined this community a long time ago(around the start of Season 1) and I've been playing the game ever since. Truth be told , I haven't given it much attention lately , only going for the occasional game with my friends every now and then, but with the advent of the recent ARURF game mode, I have decided to grab my friends and go for a lot more games than we're accustomed to. Now, I've played the first iteration of URF, back when it was revealed as an April Fool's joke , and I found it quite fresh and entertaining, then they decided to introduce bans , which was a brilliant idea in my opinion , as it stopped people from spamming the same annoying champions over and over again(Some were permanently banned, but I guess that was for the best). And then , this happened. All Random URF. How this got through testing and onto the live servers is anyone's guess. Explain to me how this is a good idea? How is this supposed to work when I was forced to fight a Jax three times today. Three bloody games filled with anger, disgust and confusion. And that's just today. It's infuriating to fight so many broken champions(broken if judged by the standards of the game mode , of course) while I get shit like Lulu(And end up getting one shotted) Trundle (And end up being beaten to death because I can't deal damage to him since he will dodge almost every single basic attack). Seriously, at least if it weren't all random , it would be goddamn fair, as I would be able to pick something that's equally as bullshit. But no, I am stuck in a 20-30 minutes game , spending half of it staring at a colorless grey screen , waiting to be fucked again , for the 12th bloody time. The game mode was all right before, albeit cancerous, but it was still better than it's now, much fucking better. Do excuse my vitriol , but I am writing this while filled with utmost disgust. I am open to discussion , and if anyone would like to challenge my stance on this , I'd be rather grateful.
Thank you for reading this.
