the reporting system is flawed and needs a serious overhaul

so i just got out of a game where i had an afk support and the enemy team talking trash ( i paid no attention and just kept playing) then out of no where our mid viktor starts calling me a retard because i was trying to cs when available since i was behind due to being lane bullied by ez and braum. i tell him to shut up and worry about his own gameplay i need to cs if im going to be a factor in this game aannnnnnd i get reported and get chat banned for 10 games, Now this brings me to my overall point. the punishment system is based off of a popularity contest or the dynamics of a bully circle. if your team (in bronze especially) decides you are the one to blame for the loss you get reported! so all in all even if you have done nothing wrong you can get ganged up on and blamed and get reported. to me this is obviously flawed and there needs to be better way to deal with toxic players.

i got 5 game 20 min que becuse the client crashed ( i have bus splat report pictures) and when i messaged riot they just blamed me saying nothing they could and insisted it was a problem on my end instead of blaming there client and lifting my ban.

All in all the whole tribunal and punishment system needs a serious overhaul.

It's not a popularity contest. One report for a game matters as much as nine reports for a game. Furthermore, the system does identify and dismiss false reports and de-values the reporter if they keep making false reports. The way to deal with toxic players is to report them, not to respond to them. You don't get a chat restriction for a single game, you get it for a history of multiple games where your actions were deemed uncalled for.

As with chat restrictions, you shouldn't be in low priority queue for a single bug splat. You have to build up some sort of history of AFKing in order to get that.
