So I'm a little confused, last season i was toxic got punished and turned my attitude around. Even got to honor 4 from 1 I believe, in like 4 months time. This year I've been friendly, getting honored at least every other game its been like this for 4 months and i haven't progressed a single checkpoint all season. Doesn't matter if i get 4 honors in a game multiple games in a row. It feels like the system doesn't work anymore. I've seen people who are complete and utter jerks in chat all game long have level 3 already. I know it seems a little ridiculous to complain about something like this but cmon why have a feature in the game if all it does is make someone frustrated that they cant progress in it no matter what they do.

maybe you still get reported. Even if you don't get punished, reports in which you badmouth stop your honor exp for some time

Even still i mute everyone before i start badmouthing people. Only thing i can think of is if im getting reported for not communicating or something like that

the progress was up last season because it came in later in the season compared to it starting off at the start of the season here
