On the topic of Occult and UberDanger,
Dear Riot,
League of Legends is something I play to have fun, it’s a recreational activity that I enjoy sharing with my friends. If you choose to continue to ignore me as a customer, that’s fine – it’s not my place to make decisions for you. However, time and time again I have been let down, and at some point I will simply put my money where my mouth is, and stop playing altogether. The overwhelming majority of casual League of Legends players just want to have fun, and a big part of that is finding interesting ways to play the game. Sword of the Occult is something that represents that fun for me, it creates a high risk, high reward playstyle, which is what I enjoy, and is something that League severely lacks. It’s not overpowered or unfair, and the playstyle the item creates causes it to be unviable at the competitive level. It doesn’t affect the game negatively for the casual player either, so I ask that you please reconsider your decision, and give players the choice to have fun with the item.
Sincerely, Edward
P.S. Please listen to the community. we may seem like almost free cash, and for some it may be, but if you dont listen to the community (not a threat), your game will fail like so many more have. people leave if they dont feel they are getting the help they need or even if you do something (or plan to), that will effect them and disappoint them. i cant come up with the name of any of the games that have failed before, because i dont bother to remember those games.
please, if you have any care for your customer-base, fan-base, and player-base, please dont let this game become one of 'those' games.
i sent this in a email to [email protected] just before this post. this post is a point of refernce for League of Legends players and fans.
Yes (keep) No (remove) and please, before you vote, watch the video. thank you for your time. the video is called "Riot should NOT remove Sword of the Occult from League of Legends" and it was uploaded November 3'rd to YouTube by UberDanger.
i think it should merely be nerfed; 1 stack per kill or assist. this suggests that they should work with the team rather then killsteal and solo. 10 kills is way easier then 20 and makes them work for it.
mabye it would start with 2 stacks instead of 5, making it harder to snowball when your winning lane just by buying it.
or even removing more stacks on death, to turn the game around when the player with it does die.
