Do I deserve a report if I'm playing proxy Nasus?

Everyone kept saying to report me because I was trolling... I wasn't though. I was just proxying the game as Nasus. Btw I was not trying to go for kills or anything

I went 0/11/8
Maxed out E to push
My build was zz rot, banner, boots, randuin, and giants belt
Kept pushing top and the lane to keep pressure at top.
I did feed but did it on purpose to keep everyone coming top
Overall try to keep pressure off the map and on top so my team and push/get objectives

So I ask you, do I really deserve to be reported/banned? I mean IMO I don't because I was proxying... I just want to hear your opinions.

People still dont get that proxying doesnt mean inting to get people toplane? You get pressure and escape and dont go 0-11 dude, thats just feeding, especially after the goldvalue changes in which you are STILL worth a lot of money after 6-7 deaths, you basically made the game a LOT harder for your team because you didnt understand the basics of what you are supposed to do with that pick. If I had you in my game I would be pretty pissed, fun having enemies with x k goldlead just from 1 guy who then thinks he won the game by "applying pressure".

I thought even with playing Singed, you farm your best and then even if you cannot get out you feed. ANd when you're feeding then you're worth nothing. As that happens you continue to pressure top and even if you die it doesn't matter because you're worth nothing at all. I wasn't even trying to go for kills or anything

When you farm your gold value goes up, so eventually you'll be worth something.

Thought it would only be kills and assists that would raise your gold value, not farming. So you would stay at that low value until you start getting assists and kills.

No when you farm your gold worth goes up. You still shouldn't try to die, that is int feeding and is a bannable offense. If you had done the same but NOT fed you would have been fine.

yes because you should ask your team if they're in agreement with your planned strategy that is unorthodox before the game starts.

Strategies that are off-meta require the entire team to understand what is going on and work together, otherwise it's not going to work. Proper communication is key, and no that doesn't mean "hey guys i'm gonna do this thing because it's what I want to do." copypaste.

like i said, was your entire team in agreement with your strategy prior to the game starting?

Honestly when i said it most of them didn't even know what it is.... Only one person on the other team knew what it was.

Maybe not deserve to be banned but you did play rather poorly and your stratagem failed miserably.

How did I fail? I continued to have pressure top and allowed my team to continue to push and get other objectives.

A part of proxying is avoiding giving the enemy gold, simply pressuring isn't enough if the enemy gets something out of it.

Did you get your teammates consent before picking this build? Were they expecting you to be the tank? instead of a split mage support? did you communicated in between? Did you win?

I didn't tell them. Like they kept saying "report nasus" and "stop feeding" that's when i was telling them I'm proxying. I mean they didn't expect anything or tell me to play a certain way/build. ANd we did win.

"and we did win" then it shouldn't matter, but in the future, inform them at the lobby in what you plan to do.

Not every one is going to except or is prepared for that kind of tactic.

It would be fair if they reported you, but unfair if you got banned.

Okay that's understandable. I mean I would think it's unfair to get banned, but everyone is allowed to report based on their own opinion. Idk just have mix feelings about this. Thanks!

Winning or not doesn't matter. You just gave your teammates a shitty experience to deal with your "strategy". Plus you even added the fact of never telling them your plans in the first place & the feeding being intentional is NOT how you considered "proxy".

When you proxy farm do not feed. Try your hardest to NOT give them kills.
