Champion select - champions set (like item sets)
This might sound really odd but I think as with item sets, I believe players should be able to sort out champion pools into folders before a game in the "Collection" subcategory in the client so that they can access it during champion select. (I believe the following arguments will make sense if people have item sets for specific champions as it follows a similar line of logic)
Reasons:
- People who have many champions, without a system to allow them to manually customise champion sets may end up just playing one champion as muscle memory instead of focusing on an entire variety of champs.
- For example, in a ranked match, instead of scrolling through my entire champion pool and panicking to pick, I could select a folder called 'top' or 'bruiser' so I can personally select from a group of champions that could benefit the team.
- During champion select, it could reduce chances of panic choosing if you select a folder of personal champions to fit the role -> scrolling through an ENTIRE champion pool can be frustrating (I have at times just scrolled through the list subconsciously because I have no idea who to play).
- Really just feels easier to access champions in my opinion (champions can be overlooked if there is an entire champion pool) -> If you only see your group of, let's say, 8 junglers in your 'jungler folder', it gives you more time to accurately choose who you wish to play/ who is best for your team instead of picking your usual champion all the time.
- Of course, there should still be a folder called 'All available' to keep the normal champion pool during champion select for fun games etc
- I am not too much of a coding person but I feel it is not too large or too big of an effort to change that could improve gameplay overall.
P.S. Maybe it's just me but sometimes I feel 'Oh, it's been so long since I've played Wukong because I forgot he existed because of how big my champion pool is. Maybe I could have won last game if I selected him instead of selecting Fiora from muscle memory'.
