How to Prevent Losing Tower in Bottom Lane?

So I'm a support main who is relatively new to the game (been playing for about 5-6 months) and I've noticed in a couple of my games that I end up losing bottom tower too quickly. One instance where this happens is if the enemy jungler decides to gank bottom lane while I and my ADC try to run back to the safety of our turret. One of two things happens here.

  1. I and my ADC fail to outrun the jungler and enemy ADC/support. Either one or both of us die, leaving our turret exposed to the point where they end up depleting at least half of its health before we are able to return to our lane.

  2. We are successfully able to outrun the enemy team, but they have the upper hand as they have three in the bottom lane vs two of us. Because of this, they have free access to aggro our turret, depleting its health. We cannot do much to defend besides occasionally poking the enemies in hopes we do not die, and at times the jungler is too late to arrive before the turret becomes destroyed.

I heavily ward the river bushes, along with the bushes that are nearby the turret, and ping my ADC to fall back if they are pushing too close to the turret if we have no vision, but at times they do not listen to my pings. Sometimes they play too aggressively to the point where the enemy team has an advantage of them and I cannot keep up with them. Should I try to play more aggressively with my ADC?

I also understand that recall times and minion waves also have an influence on a turret's lifespan. Sometimes if I feel as if my ADC is recalling too early due to being OOM or HP, I try to stay in lane and at least freeze the wave somewhat so that our team's minions can push. Should I recall at the same time as my ADC? Is there a clear method of "freezing" the minion wave?

I understand that with the current meta, turrets are in a very weak state, but what can I as the support do to prevent the loss of my turret? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Junglers are very strong in the current meta, and a bad jungler can cause you to lose your tower early on due to 2v3. What you can do about it is try to support your jungler, especially with getting first Rift Scuttler. If your jungler gets the upper hand over theirs, you'll get ganked less and your other lanes will be less likely to feed too. Also lots of wards. Since you don't get your vision item until ~10 minutes in, you'll need control wards to compliment your trinkets. Try asking your ADC to buy one for the triangle bush so you can use yours on the river bush.

Sometimes even seeing the gank coming won't save you. You can't win 'em all.

Getting towers is the entire point of the game, there's literally no 1-stop fix. Honestly asking how to keep tower safe is borderline asking how to play better.

Since you're pretty new, it's possible you don't have a lot of basics down. I recommend going on to youtube and watch some videos on ADC wave management (yes, learn about the minion wave, even as a support), and vidoes about warding. I'll also recommend my two favourite support youtubers/steamers who actually play normally and put out frequent advice/tutoring videos:

If your adc push too far just leave them and stand at turret. That'll teach them.

Four minions, usually casters, outside of turret range is a freeze. :) generally, you want to either roam or recall after you've hard pushed the wave though that falls on your ADC more than you. Whether or not you play aggro with your adc heavily depends on a lot of factors though. It's too hard to really answer that without an extensive guide. There are a lot variables.

Sometimes, though, there just isn't much to do about losing the turret, to be honest. If it's a lane that's stronger in a 2v2, you're gonna get pushed in a lot and you would rather lose turret than feed. It's not always bad to lose turret early either, if you have a scaling ADC and the rest of your team is some what strong. Ward up bot side jungle for them and they can free farm the long lane relatively safely to sort of catch up, especially if they're only down CS and not kills.

Iv made some warding videos. Some people like them. Hope they help. These are SOME warding locations/schemes, of course NOT the only places to ward. Warding should be adaptive whenever possible, and by that I mean if you know they enemy has wall jumping champs, or stealth champs you want to try and get some wards where they will stealth or jump form if you can. These are just "covers most situation" kind of warding options.
