Hi Riot, My Idea: Some people may have stopped buying your hex-tech items but guess what? i have an idea to revolutionize this, so that your hex-tech items are seen as worth. Now time to get into business. It is hard for players to gift a skin or and RP-worth-item to a friend or opponents no matter how well-behaving or sportsman-like they are. Spending 975/420 RP to buy someone a skin would feel like a huge give away. Now, what do you say about making Hex-tech items gift-able. Since a hex-tech case and key cost 125 RP each, Players will be more willing to reward their team mates or opponents as this is a significantly lower price than the full skin give away. Even gift-able skin shards could make this work.

Its Profit and Efficiency If i knew that after a given game, i had a 20% chance to be gifted an hex-tech item rather than 1% chance to be gifted a skin by my ally or opponent, i would be more willing to play with good sportsmanship characteristics: well-behaving, cooperative and many more. This is the main reason i am presenting this idea: in order to promote a healthier game. In NA, roughly 75% of league players are bronze and silver and the most saltiest and unsportsmanlike group of players And therefore also your biggest customer group. The only place you can find a person gifting a skin to someone is like diamond to challenger. but if gifting can promote a healthier game play and if we focus this issue on your largest customers and unhealthiest players at the same time, we can definitely change a lot. The hex-tech purchase rate will hike and money will flow in. if i get a chest from an S+, i can gift this chest to a team mate and he/she will buy a key if he does not have it and will be able then to open it. both players contribute only 125 RP on the table to achieve a skin shard. It may sound like it too cheap for the players, but the recipient will after wards need skin essence to unlock that shard which will keep the system profitable. But as the process keeps going it will be similar to having your hex-tech purchased normally as of now but it will be done mutually among players and it will be done more often. In this way you will get more profit from hex-techs while helping the community to be healthier even though it would be advisable to make the odds to get a legendary or ultimate skin shard smaller for this idea to be profitable at its best.
