Yuumi

She needs to be buffed or adjusted. After an hour game it felt like I was doing nothing to help my team at all. I know she is meant to help people use strats, but her W feels so useless in game. I'm conflicted about the champ because the design feels unique and fun... it's just not as fun to play. Yuumi

item 3504 is your mistake. On yuumi its weaker then most Enchanters. No good AOE mid fight. So steroid is wasted. To trigger it you give up your heal's best case, or ignore targets on your team who needed a good heal.

Try item 3174 . Great synergy with the kit.

item 3116 Extra hp is usless. your Q slows already. your passive has 0 damage, as does W and E. Your R has massive range and a snare. If you have item 3174 and want CC try item 3030 . Its a much higher % slow. And every stat on the item is usefull to your kit, and also it will do damage to add stacks to your Grail.

Grail enables burst healing, so your W is used to reposition mid fight to the right teammates to assist. A item 3504 build only helps AS reliant champions. No aoe = 1 proct per E. possibly more if passive Is used but that's unlikely outside of a good R cast during teamfights. Sona Soraka Janna all can trigger it for multiple champions. Its AOE on every one of those kits. Nami can use it pretty well because of the bounce mechanics on her heal and the massive CC to set it up in lane.

item 3174 is a dam solid core item on yuumi. Don't take my word for it. Wait and see.

Bring Exhaust + Ignite. Double support summs gives you twice as many opportunities to secure a kill. You don't need Flash. You're more than mobile enough with teammates around, and without them around, Flash won't save you. You don't have any clutch Flash plays you can make, and you'll be spending a good portion of the game unable to Flash anyway.

Max Q -> W -> E

Rush item 3174 , then build item 3030 item 3905. Don't build support items, your usefulness is not your heal, it's the poke/slow, speed, and adaptive force, which all scales with AP, not heal/shield power.

Unsealed Spellbook is a great keystone on her. You can use your summoners much more liberally, since you can just overlap the ones on cooldown with a different summoner. Teleport to support your top or mid, Smite an objective, add another Heal for extra sustain to your carry, even Clarity can be incredibly useful since you blow through mana so fast. Summon Aery is still a great option, but Unsealed Spellbook has so much more impact. Free Boots, Future's Market/Biscuits, and Cosmic Insight are good choices.

Do not use your E to heal an ally unless they're below 50% HP. If they're above 50%, you should be trying to speed them into a trade or out of a fight. The heal is secondary, and won't do much until you finish Athene's. Focus on poking with your Q and setting up trades by manipulating the speed of people around you, not just healing/shielding.

Yuumi's job is to create numerous small advantages simultaneously that add up to big swings of power. Individually, the pieces of her kit are rather weak, but when you give a carry a boost of speed, extra AD/AP, a shield, and a heal all at the same time, while their target gets slowed and softened up, she can set up some major plays.

I agree with the other posters in this thread about not building standard Support fare; after playing several games building item 3504item 3174item 2065 and then a build path like item 3285item 3089item 3905, I have come to the conclusion that the latter is more effective. I also maxed E second with the first build and W second with the second, and found that the overall adaptive force boost is much more valuable, and that even the differences in healing is partially made up for with the extra AP.

This is where I detour.

I have an interesting build, I take Guardian over Aery so you don't have to get off them for a shield that much.

Every single item after your support item ( I take item 3301 ) HAS to be AP. Yuumi's scalings are... bad; but that's why W is so good. W is a combination of a bit of your AP and a bit of an ally's AP. And not every team has a Veigar or Jhin, so instead of giving as much AD as a level 1 Janna shield, you gotta do it yourself.

After some obvious, I take item 3089 and item 3907 directly after. 40% AP buff nuke is also applied to what you give and take of the ally's power. You give 140% x 0.(rank) and get returned that divided amount, adding on to your AP and receiving the 40% as well.

Spellbinder is great for when the ult your ally has is a setup ult and you want them to nuke hard, because the 80 AP from full stacks gets transferred to the ally as well.

So if you're on Rengar and he ults, you Spellbinder.

But this is no enchanter, this is a support who needs to maximize on damage so they can be a living Deathcap.
