Give Soraka's ult a channel time
She is really strong so I think this will give her some counter play and tone her down a bit.
Also, why does karthus have to channel but soraka doesn't?

It's on a HUGE cooldown and it's SUPPOSED to have a big impact since it's a ultimate ability.
Counterplay to Soraka already exists, and it's on a equally unhealthy 800 g cost item (

Honestly Soraka ult is just flat out better than karthus ult.
Hell, Soraka in general is better than Karthus.
Karthus gets a channel because people need to get a chance to survive it, they need to get ready. Soraka on the other hand has to wait for the right moment for when her allies are below 40% hp to heal them. If you give Soraka a 2 second channel, wtf are you even gonna prepare for? All you'd be doing is making her ult passive too risky or useless because it'll go unused. Like wtf are you gonna do? Parry the heal off of the enemy? prepare for just the right moment to ignite, only to have all 4 other champs receive the full heal?
Karthus has a delay because death is the ultimate form of cc as opposed to a global heal that anyone can walk away from and do something else instead of committing. Also because karthus isn't Zeus and we don't any Zeus ult moments...
With that said I have shouted out Soraka ult girl for those clutch raka ults.
