How does the end of game scoring work (D/S+) (1/1/39 A+ VS 1/1/24 S)

I made a post about this a few days back when I got an A+ on a 1/1/39 game as Yuumi confused as to why I didn't at least get an S-. Just finished another ranked game and went 1/1/24 and got an S?? I now have NO IDEA how the scoring system works. Looking for Riot Admins/Mods to hopefully explain why such different KDA got such different scores.

I know its just a score that they give you at the end of the game and it doesn't mean anything but like, c'mon...

this is probably in part to your ward score different, objective participation and time of the game.

Your end of match rating is determined by your performance on a champ compared to other people who have played that champ in that role/position (don't know if last week/month/patch etc). So there are some fluctuations on the requirements for an S-rank. Its also the reason some people go something crazy like Katarina support and get s-ranks as there isn't many others to compare that too.

As always the exact requirements for an S rank are unknown as riot has never said how much something "weighs" in their formula but since your playing support im guessing that stuff like vision score/kill participation/healing done are probably weighed more heavily as supports don't normally cs.

From seeing posts in the past (from non-support positions as well) is that most people need to ward more as even though they have good CS, kills, KP etc they have comparable vision score to people playing on ARAM.

At the end of your game, you can hover over your Champion Mastery points bar to see the grade our new system gives you. These grades are awarded based on your overall performance in the role, the champion you're playing and, crucially, where you're playing them. For example, we look at an Annie going mid differently from an Annie going support. We take a series of performance metrics and compare how you did to all other players in your region in that specific champion/position combination.

This is percentile-driven; earning a high score means you performed in the top x% of players in that champion/position combination.

Yummi assists are like participation trophies... afk spamming shield doesn't really matter. The grading system is usually more focused on farm either way, and if I remember correctly it accounts for your champion's average performance compared to all other players (so anyone can get 500 assists on the afk cat, so you likely wont get an S unless you get 600 assists with the afk cat).
