Que Dodge Epidemic!

Ever since they made the new que system I have experienced an over abundance of que dodgers. This evening I sat through literally 15 games starting... selected my characters, start banning, and BAM! Someone dodges and I'm back in line to wait. I dont know if people are doing it because the character they wanted to play was banned.. or they just want to be jerks. Is there no penalty for que dodging in regular draft games? If not I think there should be! This is getting out of hand!
Is it just me or do other people experience this problem too?

Penalties ain't heavy enough. This season's features indeed cause more frustrations and make ppl more likely to act in similar fashions, but that's still no reason to abuse a function that's not originally intended. I'd say consecutive dodges should incur much heavier consequences to pick out those who are abusing dodge out of their volition.

People here act like it's their sacred right to dodge, though. As though the option must remain open just in case of some outrageous circumstances, but then they set a really low bar for what's outrageous.

Honestly, I'd rather have people dodge my games in champ select than leave in the middle of the game and maybe it's just me having been lucky but I've had far fewer leavers and afks now since the introduction of the new system, in comparision to season 4, when it was super rare for me to have 5 games in a row without someone leaving (made climbing unbelievably hard since the leaver was almost always on my team, call it bad luck or whatever you will).

If longer queue times and having people dodge matches is the price I have to pay, I pay it gladly.
