I was wondering why doesn't riot implement armor pen boots into the game. I understand they have ghostblade and cleaver but I personally think that some armor pen boots maybe just 10% armor pen or so would be pretty bad ass.

So yes you would do true damage, but only with 120AD, not 300AD with 50% crit chance

EliteGunm4n1 votesMagic pen boots only apply with spells so they are limited by the CD of each spell. Boots that give armor pen would be too cost effective and make stacking armor a huge priority or completely obsolete and require everyone to play assassins. Tanks and bruisers would suffer heavily.
Blueharlequin1 votesWould armor pen boots work better if they had a smaller amount of armor pen. Like 5% or a flat 5 while at the same time make them an expensive upgrade. Like 775 (ala Sorc shoes) or more.
