State of Matchmaking and how to carry?

So what seems to happen with my matchmaking is that my MMR is Bronze 1/Silver 5 and I'm in silver 5. So I'll go top or mid and get a hard lead like 3 or 4 kills in front of anyone and my team will just FEED nonstop so I'll breakoff to help them and set something up and then I'll obtain a death realizing why they are feeding so hard. So I go back to doing my thing, pushing, beating my laner, objectives etc and the rest of the game is like a 1 v 5 with special guest appearances by my other lanes to dive in on some crazy wannabe outplay when they are 5 deaths down and stack another one on it. If I do bad however, it seems like the other 4 members of my team are good. Is anyone else noticing this and what/how do you untilt from it?
