3/7 placements silver 4 o.O

Hi guys, i just did my placements on one of my smurfs. I actually wanted to get placed in low Bronze to smurf a bit (yes, im sorry dont start a discussion). I did crazy stuff like Katarina Support, Nidalee afk from level 2 on, master yi adc, teleporting right into the enemy nexus etc. to loose games. Now HOW did i get placed into S4 with 3 wins and 7 losses?! How does this placement system work? My ELO on this acc in normal rift mode is like 1550 or so which should be G5 or something like that.. Does this matter in my placements as well?

oh yeah and i noticed that i was matched up with only mid-to-high silver and low gold players.. why?!?!

Yes it matters in placements....and you do realize you just posted about how you INTENTIONALLY lost games right? Which means you got 4 other people loses while being...for lack of a better word....a complete dick. I'd be surprised if you didn't get a minor ban for this.

well i thought they are 2 completely different game types with 2 different MMRs and that they shouldnt affect each other.. :/ yes sorry but dont start that discussion if possible

Normal queue MMR is indeed separated from ranked MMR and have nothing to do with eachother. This guy probably thought you meant that your MMR in last season was about 1550.

yeah they should be seperate.. the thing is i made this account this season, so there was no ranked MMR.

It's actually surprisingly hard to get into bronze nowadays. There are more people in Gold than there are in Bronze. Only people who are gifted with the power to somehow lose all the damn time are allowed into the divisions of the Bronze overlords.

Accept it. Silver is the new Bronze.

guess so.. but i remember when i was in bronze and the players there didnt even know the meta, there was rarely any jungler, they went with 2 on midlane and stuff like that, 0 vision on the map.. now even in low silver there is always the meta, both teams usually have at least 3 wards placed on the map, overall their skill improved so much.. i mean this cant be the new bronze or is it just that that there are no bad players anymore?
