What would happen if OLD Karma could duo lane with Mordekaiser now?

It would be so incredible.

In Season 2, I have always asked old Karma to support close-range bot laner, but it never really happened because ranged ADC meta has been the norm for this game.....But now Mordekaiser has been reworked to fit into duo lane, why not old Karma? Old Karma has amazing game-changing moments with her shield bombs, AoE heal, and AP spike during low health. Toppled that up with Mordekaiser's synergistic gameplay, it could be so amazing.

I may be attached to a nostalgic memory of old Karma, but if Mordekaiser rework could prove that duo bot lane can have more 'approachable' diversity in competitive play, support champions that synergize well with melee/semi-close-range champions may create new meta for people who love to try new things.

Imagine this scenario Old Karma can Spirit Bond (W) to Mordekaiser who use Harvester of Sorrow (W) to speed up and close the gap and start cloth lining enemies. Mordekaiser can then use Siphon of Destruction (E) while old Karma Heavenly Wave (Q), both doing cone AoE damage. If enemies retaliate, Karma can shield bomb (R,E) Mordekaiser on top of his passive shield, while he's chaining his triple Q for massive damage. Old Karma can then keep protecting Mordekaiser from close range while he wrecks and ult enemies to get ghost for 6v4.

Why couldn't old Karma exist now?!? Why?
