Clarity Between a Crit Strike And Bonus Damage Hit

So I dont know if this has been brought up before or not but will there be clarity between a crit strike and a bonus damage hit. I noticed this when playing against the new aatrox, specifically his q sweet spot. Now in the skill description it says bonus damage but when hit by it a crit icon is displayed so I assumed that his q sweet spot was treated as a crit. To test this I went into the practice tool and bought an to see if it worked as a crit and it didn't because none of the damage was converted to true damage(as intended I'm assuming). So my problem is that because it looks like a crit damage attack it can be confusing to both the person playing the champion and the person going against it. Thanks, [galio-happy]
