I have recently started playing League and from the matches i've played so far, ALL of them have had smurf account players. I really want to learn how to play League but I can't learn anything while being matched up with people who have played this game for a while and immediately the game is over in 10 minutes.
There are Smurfs because there simply is no other way to level a new account than to just play it out the same way as everyone else. Don't blame people for wanting to level a new acc. It isn't like most people are playing in pre30 normals because they want to.
Play BOT games until you SMOKE the Intermediate AI games (I mean zero deaths)
Don't let riot suck you in. It's a endless cycle of Over powering and nurfing champs they can't get it right or don't give a crap. It's a trash unbalanced game don't waste your time. Play Overwatch or Fornite.
Actually, you'll get better playing vs smurfs, you'll hit 30 way better then most players would of back in my day.
When I smurf though I usually give advice.
Hang in there, the promise land around post level 10-12 when a lot of the smurfs get bored is near. That said, learn what you can of the game, maybe figure out what kind of Champion you really enjoy playing.

Try using your brain OP.
Some folks smurf to help a newbie learn the game , usually a friend .
Some folk smurf because they are bad and like beating on new players so they can win once in a while .
Some folk smurf because they want to experience leveling up to 30 again.
And then there a the folk who smurf because they got permabanned , and have no other recourse if they want to keep playing.
So many smurf's because so many player's have fragile ego's. When they can no longer compete with players of their experience they make new accounts to play with new players so they can feel good about them selves.
There is no reason to make a new account they are free(unless they got banned). The only reason players smurf is because they don't want fair they want to stomp players and win. LOL players for the most part have weak egos and they bruise easy. They make these smurf accounts because they have a hard time playing against players with equal skill and can no longer climb so they make new accounts to smash new players to make them feel like they are good at the game. All Riot would have to do is raise the level you have to be to play against other players to like 35 and just bots before level 35 the new players could learn and the smurfers wouldn't bother(it would be to much work for weak egos)but Riot Games will do nothing because players would stop playing if they couldn't smurf because again smurfers have weak egos and getting beat some times makes them cry. Smurfers would rather have cheap easy wins than a hard fought one.
