Why doesnt Silver Bolts work with Runans?

2 reasons.

1. That would be retardedly broken.
2. It only affects one target at a time. If you apply 2 SB stacks onto something then hit something else, it will remove the bolts from the initial target when the bolt is applied on the new target.

They set up Runaan's where only the main target would get bolts so her SB stacks aren't bouncing from target to target never reaching 3.

Why not? I don't get those downvotes, why buffing one of the strongest adcs and giving him option to kill three champions in a second is something wrong? Vayne is now not that strong till level 3 and before her first item she even can't kill solo two enemies, so that would be Perfect buff imo.

Dude are you mentally fine? Do you need any help? If so ill be happy to tell you why that would be broken and why vayne is one of the most OP champs that leauge has seen and buffing her would be as stupid as you are. She can kill every squishy champion with 2 autos lategame and tanky champs with 3/4 autos. With runnans she would kill 3 people in time of one. What a great offer why would you decline it. I see some guys building runnans on vayne for the waveclear so if you want you can buy it go ahead.

Because that would give Vayne way too much team fight presence.

Silver bolts is coded as a single target spell that requires 3 marks to proc, it does true damage based on % of max health specifically because it's a delayed single target proc, if the skill was able to proc on multiple targets at once then the damage would need to be gutted.

Cause it would be broken AF same with MF passive same with Caitlin Passive

but for the sake of clarity it should say "basic on hit affects" meaning Unique ones from Champions are not included. but then it wouldn't include:

Twitch's poison passsive Ashe frost shot passive

so yea it's confusing and unclear AF

im pretty sure the skill specifically states only one target can be affected by silver bolts at a time, therefore only the main unit being attacked will get affected.

It is a correct interaction. Silver bolts are on auto attack and NOT on hit effects. Riot rarely uses on auto attack and the only place it matters is runans, but it does exist.
