Still gaining 16lp and losing 25lp. can anyone explain

Hi everyone, i recently started playing with my friends doing 5man party and we have been losing more than win and it brought to elohell as silver 1. i got deranked to silver 2 so i started just playing solo queue and gain my mmr back. now i am back at average MMR. but i still gain 16lp and lose 25lp. can someone explain why? thanks

its your mmr.... you need to win like at a 70% + win rate to go the other way where your wins and loses average out on LP

I started out with ~1450 mmr. then i went to 1100 but now im back at ~1400 and i still lost 25lp.

Websites that tell you you're mmr are just making an educated guess, pretty much.
