Why has this not happened yet?

A game still in its beta managed to implement this, and yet riot has managed not to despite years of repeated requests. Seriously, why?

Right, meaning your champion will randomly stop if you are not closely monitoring where your cursor goes. This means in a clutch scenario instead of watching where you need to be running and how you intend to juke your pursuers, you are expected to also monitor that you don't click TOO far away from your champion lest you click on your hub

I'm still waiting for a functional use for my left mouse button. I seriously don't think I need to ONLY use it in the shop, EVER. And for pinging.

...

We don't control more than one unit, so there is no need to have the left click bound to... nothing of value. Left click is the button you should use the most in any game.
