if there is a Garen and you are MissFortune
just stay this far away from Garen <-----------------------------------------------------> and he can never do any damage to you.

i like Garen he was one of the 1st champs i ever played and i enjoy him still to this day but after playing for along as i have i know he isnt the best pick in all situations. but i know he is far from op and any champ who is ahead and does damage will seem op.

I've always wondered why Garen has no mana, but darius does. I mean cmon they're pretty much the same champ

And having mana would make him rethink spamming his spells on cooldown. Perhaps OP is onto something. Can anyone explain why thematically Garen has no MANA, but Darius, Xin, Jarvan, and other similar juggernauts/ top lane warriors do?

Darius > Garen. Darius beats Garen in lane and his ult resets.

Because those champions have kits that aren't garbage.

there are lots of champs who dont have mana

Garen has no armor pen or bleed effect nor any engage tool. Darius has all this. JarvanIV has an armor shred, %hp damage, free attack speed bonus and aura he has a knock up /gap close/escape and his ult is able to trap most champs when they dont have summoner 4 XinZhao has armor pen, a heal on his ability , a gap close, and a knockback

Garen has a small movement speed increase that enhances his next auto attack , he has a shield that can reduce incoming damage/cc effects that stacks to give him more armor and mr, he has an very avoid about aoe physical damage spell and he has his ult which can be an execute that either does magic damage based on % hp missing or sometimes true damage if you are the villian. he has no hard cc, no gap close, no real escape. the thing that most people seems annoyed about or use to bitch about was his passive. where after not taking damage for 8 secs he regens hp.

but that is why Darius is strong vs a Garen he has his passive which counters garen, he has more damage out put in his kit, and he has armor pen that will counter garen's bonus armor he gets from W and darius ult does true damage which is an execute.

if any one them would be considered over power, id offer Darius
