I've always wondered why Garen has no mana, but darius does. I mean cmon they're pretty much the same champ

And having mana would make him rethink spamming his spells on cooldown. Perhaps OP is onto something. Can anyone explain why thematically Garen has no MANA, but Darius, Xin, Jarvan, and other similar juggernauts/ top lane warriors do?

Garen was made for noobs to play, like players new to the game. Mana management is too much for such players.
