I don't understand how people can actually make it into gold without knowing basic concepts of the game. too many people get lucky in their promos.

Ehhhh part of it is the fact gold and diamond are the most common elos where people pay boosters to get themselves to, i woulden't be surprised if 1 in 4 people in gold hired a booster or begged their friends to boost them, I can tell you right now a person whom I use to be really close to gave nudes to get herself into gold.

You don’t realize how much better you are than the lower elos unless u make a smurf and shit-stomp people in Silver (probably not shit stomp, but you’d notice yourself climbing somewhat quickly if you try)

Tell me about it the times i can't even count when i people told me how boosted i am for geing gold 5. Yes btw im boosted there was a boosting sale on totalynotfakeboostingsitename.com i can only recommend it. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

No but tbh Gold 5 is the target for end of season reward boost and Dia 5 for the "im elite but i stuck in silver because of my teammates" boost.

Gold sucks. Almost all of the players in that rank have the sole purpose of getting season rewards. Wanting to get better at the game or thinking critically in a quick decision game mode is the least likely reason they got into it in the first place.

I noticed a difference in gold 5.... I thought I was doing really good cause I won so much to get to gold 5. Then boom i got stomped by the enemy team like 5 games after hard. I guess it's semi-easy to get to gold but it'll still take learning to improve.

Their certainly is a difference between legit gold players and legit bronze and silver players

Legit being used in the sense where you are actually trying to climb in ranked by yourself

Bronze players are who are legit stuck and climbing on their own, are bad in every sense of the word mechanically, they know nothing about the map, fuck if they are playing Ahri they probs don't even know their q does true damage.

Silver players, they actually know how to play the game to a proper level where they can actually enjyoy it and apreciate the mechanics it has. Mechanically they are miles better than your typical bronze players, but when it comes to understanding the map, how to close games, and figuring out other strategies besides "araming it down mid" they are still pretty clueless. Normally pretty bad attitudes as well.

Gold, Finally this is where you see a growth in both mechanics and map fundamentals, they are more than one strat in how to win a game, and they understand the importance of team comps. Main problem is, they know near nothing of the advanced stuff, and if they do, executing it challenges them.

Plat, Legit good players both mechanically and strategically, Especially when you get to plat two and one you will see some very scary players capable of being diamonds.

Diamonds+ You are literally god when you go all out, nuff said, nothing needs to be said
