Ok riot you really did something great now. You have managed to take a under played champion and squashed his small fan base. His q the turret pushing was really the best thing he had going for him. Since the update for adcs. Trundle has not been going against many tanky champs top, ex: makoi and darius. But now with this patch you have destroyed trundle and his god pushing powers plus mana do you think he is a mana whore or something. You have not only ignored trundle from skins or some love. But.......... you shit on him. And push him around like some type of monster. Riot you have fucked up this time with nerfing someone that FEW people play as. And to think i was gonna buy a skin for him again now with this shitty nerf. Thanks for killing trundle fans and making him become the new yorick. You have managed to screw up another champion why dont you give trundle or yorick some love and not some shitty new champion that no one will like after awile. Like azir. Thank you riot. RIP TRUNDLE

Trundle was underplayed truly. I have played many games and i dont see trundle played often. All riot has done to trundle is make him another yorick or urgot.

At the time you're writing this there are exactly 67 champions with less of a pick rate than Trundle... so I'm confused again where you're getting your statistics. Just because you don't see him doesn't mean he doesn't exist. For that matter he has a greater pick rate than other champions you're probably going to say you see all the time such as Illaoi, Azir, Veigar, Shyv, Talon, Quinn etc...

You just want to see another yorick. Trundle is gonna turn into to him now but whatever riot claims to have 100 plus champs on the homepage but there losing more every time they make a big nerf to a champ that isnt seen alot. But whatever they can just stick to working on making money and making new champs then focusing on the older champs and balancing them out first.

Are you at least aware of why Yorick is in the state that he is before making such statements? Currently Trundle is sitting at quite the healthy play rate. Until you have proof that this is any different I wouldn't bother making that kind of assumption.

Yes, Trundle WAS underplayed, but never underpowered. Then the pre season came along and a lot of shit went down in his favor. The new masteries are great for him (Fervor or Grasp are just fine) + the increase of healing effects in the "Tank" masteries + the fact that his ulti now has an ever bigger value for damage since last whisper was nerfed added to his already good kit made him be played more often and lead to his nerfs.

I agree with you he was underplayed but as a trundle main myself i wouldve like to see more of trundle. Even though he was such a great top riot wouldve gave him another skin before nerfing him to shit. For being a champ that been around for awile he has 3 skins excluding traditional.

His top lane trading and constant dueling was pretty annoying. His jungling remains the safe, he isn't as safe anymore thanks to the ult CD nerfs. He used to demolish towers, and I honestly thought it was a bit insane to see him split push so hard. I'm going to miss him eating towers...

But hey, his fantastic jungling is the same.

I'll do you better and link you to an actual statistic instead of my anecdotal evidence of playing with and against trundles over and over in dominion. http://champion.gg/champion/Trundle his playrate was skyrocketing relative to what's normal for trundle because his winrate was downright insane. for a champion with mostly targeted melee autoattack damage and only one ability that requires much subtlety to properly use, Trundle was clearly too powerful for how much effort he takes to play.

I like Trundle (Traditional Trundle, not the stupid fake ice trundle) but he should not be able to perform that well.

Ok i do understand man i was just so devistated to how badly they nerfed him. Just dont want him to be dead forever. His winrate was kinda high and i was expecting a nerf to come in play but... not this big :(

I don't think he'll be that bad. Q'ing turrets isn't that big a deal when Q'ing a minion and using the AD steroid to beat on the turret harder for a few seconds is almost as good, his ult only has a 10 second longer cooldown at max rank and it's still insanely powerful to the point where you can sometimes 1v2. Nothing they nerfed really hit him anywhere that truly hurts his playstyle.

The mana and the broken teeth abillity being added and removed was way to much for trundle this was overkill.

Funny how Lee , Yasuo, Zed and Rengar are wildly overpowered and have gotten ZERO nerfs... even Rengar is getting a buff with a slight adjustment (Pseudo nerf).

Rengar's is a straight nerf. dealing more damage on his third auto doesn't matter when you don't normally survive the first two.

I don't often comment or post on the boards but this made me seriously mad. Playing Trundle support you have to use ice block to harass the ADC and make to make plays, keep junglers zoned out, and the other skills are not as important, until it came time for that tower takedown at 8 minutes when your adc got a double kill so you could then start roaming. The no q on towers is stupid. So long as there is a single champ out there that can use a damage buff on a tower this is NOT balancing at all, just screwing one person over. The mana is even worse. He always used a lot of mana and he was fairly easy to counter. NOW I can almost never cast a spell and just hang out in lane waiting for charges on my relic shield. looking like a fool, OH and now ANOTHER nerf to Bond of Stone. I mean really rito, there are so many other tanks in bot lane that could use a nerf, or top lane, but TRUNDLE? Talk about coming out of nowhere with some stupid nerf to someone I have played for years. item 3070 Oh and now I am less useful as a jungler to come into lane to help finish off a tower. I hate you rito. I want all my money back.
