That shit wasn't healthy and you know it.

But only having to use 2 abilities was pretty fun

7.1% pick rate, no one plays her? I actually really enjoy her current playstyle a lot.

However, no, they won’t pull a LeBlanc or Rengar, one because they aren’t any more balanced, and two because Akali was a full VGU. They don’t revert that unless there is literally no options left, and of all the full VGUs, not one has been reverted. So, won’t happen.

It can happen to Akali, unlike other reworks her play style completely did a 180 from an AP assassin to an AD bruiser (you can go tank Akali) and if they can't fix her at all then a revert or a another rework will be on the table.

She can still be an AP Assassin. It’s also entirely possible that they become pleased with her current kit.

I did say they don’t revert unless there is absolutely no other option, I highly doubt they’ll do so here.

She can't until they fix her passive, W, and R. Also fix her stats across the board. They can't be pleased with her current kit when every main that plays her wants her to be an AP assassin, not a AD bruiser.

Your right, I also highly doubt a revert, but it is way more likely on Akali than any other VGU rework.

Well, apprently pros see if differently, since she’s been played as AP assassin there with success. That’s where I’ve seen her gain success as AP, which leads me to believe it’s still possible.

I..don’t see how Akali is a special case or is more likely to receive a revert compared to any ther VGU, when she went through the same process as all the others.

Yes, you can play AP assassin on pro play, because they can communicate each other to win a lot of situation while on SoloQ, that never happens.

Not really the same process. Irelia post-rework best build was still her original build. Nunu didn't change completely, BUT Aatrox did. One reason why is that they made him from an auto attack heavy to ability canceling champion like Riven. Akali fundementally if you combo her (ignoring her passive) is similar to Akali. The problem isn't her damage. It is that she has shit burst, bad defenses, bad base stats, bad scaling, high CD abilities and she can't build more than 20% CDR on AP assassin.

Any buffs to AP assassin will buff her AD counter part if done wrong, she is practically one of the hardest champions to balance.

Not really a good argument imo, you could go tank Akali pre rework and do well, also one of pre rework Akali's best builds was AP bruiser toplane. She had better matchups toplane pre rework too so her being better top didn't really change either.

The reasons why AP bruiser and tank Akali were good was mostly because the items were strong or had amazing synergy with Akali.

AP assassin Akali was still good and you can very successful with it.

Pre-rework Akali could go mid and still win at lvl 6, the recent nerfs and removal of heal made it nearly impassible to do that unless your going against bad players.

Pre-rework Akali in general was easier for Riot to balance and update as an Ezreal style update.

Apparently there's a Toplane AD Bruiser build that Akali is using over in KR that's pretty decent. I've given it a try & it's interesting to say the least.

Primary Runes: ##~~ Conqueror/Triumph/Legend: Tenacity/Coup de Grace~~

Secondary Runes: #Taste of Blood/Ravenous Hunter

Rune shards: 2 Adaptive, 1 Armor

Build: item 3078 item 3053 item 3812 item 3020 item 3026 item 3074

Conquerer is interesting, though I can see why. I did try a Trinity top Akali not too long ago, though I was apparently against a not so good Riven, so I couldn’t get as good of a feel. The AS and AD do feel nice for objectives, unfortunate that the execute doesn’t get stronger, but understandable.

I did try Fleet Footwork for the keystone, just for the early lane sustain, and it felt pretty good as well. Helps that it can proc off minions.
