Camera... Yeah Yeah I know

I recently got banned until March 10th for using a zoom out mod. Not complaining on that, its clearly in the rules that I am not allowed to use one. But I gotta ask why is it so bad for me to use it? Riot isn't giving me the option to play fairly like everyone else. Other people are good at unlocking the camera and moving it around all while playing which is giving me a disadvantage playing it. But I was recently at a tournament where there were over 100 people present, and most of them hated that they couldn't zoom out more. We aren't at an advantage using it, I can't see past the fog of war when using it.

I know there are people out there that are really good at it that like it, and the reason is that you now have an upper hand against people like me who can't zoom out. Riot is always talking about balancing the game, but I feel like this is one of the biggest flaws holding it back from being balanced. Three of my friends won't even play anymore because they had such a hard time keeping up with the camera and fighting.

I saw that there are some new camera lock options, but why go through all the trouble when you can just add in a zoom out mode. I feel like you think you will upset people who have been playing MOBA's since the beginning, but they will end up getting used to it, and I bet they will like it. All the while us casual players will have an easier time also.

I just want to know a great reason why Riot believes that if you aren't seeing past fog of war, why it matters how much you can zoom out?
