RIP Blitzcrank

Blitzcrank has been my favorite champ for coming up on a year now. I've been maining Blitzcrank since the middle of last season with about 200 games on my main account in and another 200 or so across a few smurf accounts. I'm sitting mid diamond right now with about 250 played on him this season. I played one game this morning just to see what the changes were all about and it feels really bad right now to get slowed down to ~250 move speed after a couple of seconds of speed. The slow more than negates the distance traveled by your w to the point where you can get around faster without using your W than using it on cooldown. You can't use your w to run away anymore. If someone decides they want to chase you down you're done. It was even worse in the jungle. You already had to be aware of jungle creeps and path wide so your R passive didn't break your mobility boots. I know his growing popularity was an issue with his winrate being so high, but there has got to be another way to tone him down. Increase the cooldown on his hook. Reduce the % movespeed gained or the duration, or even both, of his W. This self slow feels really bad and I don't think I'll be playing him much in the future.
