I don't understand the grading system.

Today I played a game of Lucian and I went 20/4/4. I got an A for this performance. I really want mastery level S but it seems really hard to get anything above an S-. Note that my cs was kinda low with a 33:14 game. Can someone explain to me how I can get an S without going 35/0/23 with 400 cs?

It compares us to other people playing that champion and role. Maybe look at some good players and you'll see what kind of competition there is....

dude dont get me started in game early as Caitlyn i went 14-5-14 had most gold in game, had a 72% participation and 200cs placed 13 wards bought 1 pink destroyed 3 wards and had 37K damage dealt higher by 13k roughly to the next highest damage dealt in game I got an A- not an A or an A+ an A -

lol i was stomping hard in team fights and doing damage, it was run it down mid after mid game and thats what we did . i focused on turrets and objectives. but im newb i should split from team and farm side lanes

You dont seem to understand that CS isnt just a number. First off, its free gold. Secondly, more CS means you have more lanes pushing to take more objectives after fights

i had 17 k gold the highest in the game, with 2nd most cs at 199 with enemy Zed having 4 more. i out damage every one all 9 other players by roughly 13k in damage to champs. i had a kill % of 72% and placed 13 wards 4 behind my support i destroyed 3. i had a kda of 14-5-14 would 10 more cs made that big of a difference in a game that was 39/24/75 kda for my team compared to 24/39/38 kda of the other team?

i completely understand the importance of CS, i do really. but me going to a side lane and not being with team when we were dominating team fights and objectives such ad drakes and baron and turrets being in favor of 11 to 1 all i would end up doing is lowering my kda, my Kill % and my damage. it would of drugged the game out instead of finishing it sooner.

From what I've noticed, CS is a big factor for ADCs. You need somewhere around 7-8 CS per minute minimum along with a good KDA to get a S- or S. Objective participation is also a factor

im aware of that but i did do alot in spite of having a low average of cs. i mean there has to be more to it than that... if i was to roam and just farm and not be with team i couldnt do damage or have my kill participation let alone the kda i had of 14-5-14

The trick is to push your lane out before roaming.

Thats not even just for a good grade. You should be doing that regardless
